Technology · vertical integration

We build the core ourselves.

Most waterjet makers assemble a machine around a pump and a cutting head they buy from someone else. Rich doesn't. We engineer and machine our own IP68 five-axis head and our own intensifier, in-house, at our own production base since 2008. The part that decides your cut, we make ourselves.

Why vertical integration

The cut is decided by parts most makers don't build.

A waterjet cut is only as good as the head that aims it and the intensifier that powers it. When those come from a third-party supplier, the machine builder can't change the geometry, can't tune the pressurization, and can't fix a problem at its source. Because Rich designs and machines both in-house, the head, the pressure and the control are engineered to work as one system — and supported by the people who built them.
